APPLICATIONS are invited from suitably qualified persons for appointment as Programmes Coordinator at the Regional Transport Research and Education Centre Kumasi (TRECK). This contract appointment is for a period of TWO (2) years.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in communications, education, management, planning, or project-related technical fields
- Proficient in word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications
- Proficient in writing, creating, formatting, and editing documents and templates
- Experience with Google Workspace environment
- Experience in event planning or executive support will be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
- Draft and edit reports, presentations, evaluations, and surveys
- Facilitate/create/edit the mandatory reporting for all component activities (data and narrative reporting)
- Create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and forms in Google Workspace
- Set-up team meetings, draft and monitor meeting agenda, and host/co-host Zoom meetings
- Provide support for organizing short courses, workshops etc.
- Handle logistics for in-person, online, and hybrid events
- Provide support to the Monitoring and Evaluation officer to ensure timely submission of reports to the World Bank and other Agencies
- Attend and contribute to centre management meetings
- Follow up with team members (including thematic leads) to meet deliverable and deadlines and meeting assignments
- Other assignments by the Centre Director.
