Programme of study: MSc. Road and Transportation Engineering | Year 2

Biography

I am currently a senior engineer at the Ghana Highway Authority. I have been working in the authority for the past eight years. I got employed there in June 2011. I was taken through training for two years. After the two years of training, I was posted to the Survey and Design Division. I was there for three years and I learned a lot about Road Geometric and Drainage Design. After three years in that division, I was posted to Adidome - Juapong Road Construction Project to be the Highway Engineer. After six months, I was posted to the Upper West Region to be the Wa Road Area manager. Work there involved mostly the supervision of road maintenance activities. I've been there since then till I applied to do this MSc. Roads and Transport Engineering Programme.

I am a corporate member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers. I graduated out of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a BSc. Civil Engineering degree certificate in 2009. I attended Mfantsipim school from 2001 to 2004 for my Senior Secondary School education where I offered the General Science course. I attended Junior Secondary School at the Catholic Boys JSS in Saltpond from 1998 to 2000. I attended primary school at Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School's Primary from 1990 to 1997.

This is how far I have climbed up the academic ladder and also performed in the Civil Engineering profession. I hope to continue and contribute much to manage and improve the transportation industry.
