Biography

My name is Akinfiloye Ebenezer MoyinOluwa from Nigeria. I had my first degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria. My passion for Transportation Engineering borne on the fact that it plays a major role in making life better and providing us a conducive environment. I have worked in a couple of  different Civil Engineering firms, from a construction company to a consulting firm, where I have garnered both the theoretical and practical knowledge of the field.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography and Rural Development from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. My academic interests focus on Road and Transportation Engineering due to the recent transportation challenges mostly experienced in developing countries, particularly in Sub-Sahara Africa. For instance, traffic congestion, increased occurrence of fatalities and injuries, and structural damages are serious challenges in Ghana.

I hail from Atwima Koforidua in the Ashanti region of Ghana. I graduated from Osei Tutu Senior High School where I obtained my WASSCE certificate. My degree went to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Geomatic Engineering. I received training on geographic information systems, photogrammetry, remote sensing, database management, programming, and surveys. Following my studies, I focused on geospatial data analysis, machine learning, land degradation, transportation, and GIS.

My name is Jajeh Touray from The Gambia. I work with the University of The Gambia as Graduate Teaching Assistant since 2017. I have been in the teaching field since 2003 in areas like technical drawings, metalwork, woodwork, building design, technology and bye laws and codes. 
The transformation of the University of The Gambia that includes roads and transportation engineering inspired me greatly to apply for it, as it is embedded in the same school am serving.
