Biography

I am a Civil Engineer working with Ghana Highway Authority, Western Regional Office, Takoradi. Before I enrolled in this MSc programme, I was the Regional Materials Engineer for Western Region, and had been at post from July, 2016. Occasionally, the team taking over, call on me for an input to difficult issues.

A member of GhIE with good standing. I started my career in the civil engineering field from 2002 and to date still rendering the best of my capabilities.

Biography

I am a first-year Master of Science student at TRECK, KNUST with a BSc. Degree in Geomatic Engineering.

I have about seven(7) years of working experience at different Engineering firms. Currently, I work with CSIR- Building and Road Research Institute. Here, I am responsible for all geospatial data collection and analysis particularly in Road, Transport, and Building, and also provide consultation in Land Survey related problems, using geospatial technology.

Biography

I was born in Kumasi on 7th February,1983 and attended Pwalugu Primary and JHS in the Upper East Region, and later move to Bolgatanga Secondary School.

I joined Ghana Highway Authority in 2007 as a Technical Officer and obtained a Degree in Civil Engineering from KNUST(KAAF Campus). I am currently with the Ghana Highway Authority as a Civil Engineer.

Biography

I am currently a senior engineer at the Ghana Highway Authority. I have been working in the authority for the past eight years. I got employed there in June 2011. I was taken through training for two years. After the two years of training, I was posted to the Survey and Design Division. I was there for three years and I learned a lot about Road Geometric and Drainage Design. After three years in that division, I was posted to Adidome - Juapong Road Construction Project to be the Highway Engineer. After six months, I was posted to the Upper West Region to be the Wa Road Area manager.

Biography

With a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and having worked as an Engineer in the Ghana Highway Authority, I have developed an interest in ensuring the sustainability of the environment per challenges we encounter and envisage in our work.

I would like to be well prepared to contribute positively to the provision of engineering solutions and policy direction for the future of road and transportation in Ghana.

Biography

My name is Isaiah Uwumborja Mbui from Saboba in the northern region of Ghana. I studied BSc Geomatic engineering and graduated in the year 2018. I particularly like to associate and work with others, and carry out research works. I also like to watch football during my leisure time and am a fan of the Chelsea football club.

I am concern about road traffic accidents in Ghana and the persistent road traffic congestion in our cities, and that has particularly made this programme an interest to me.

I can say that I am a responsible and a hard-working student. Moreover, being a sociable person, I have many friends since I like to communicate with people and get to know new interesting individuals.

Simeon Stevenson Turay

I am Simeon Stevenson Turay, the second son in a family of five. Graduated in 2015 from the university of Sierra Leone with a bachelor's degree in engineering with honors in civil engineering. Served as head of Geotechnical engineering unit at one of the engineering companies in Sierra Leone from 2016 - 2019.

I am a Research and Teaching Assistant at the civil Engineering department Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Presently on study leave under the TRECK scholarship program.
