Biography
I am a Ghanaian student who is eager to help solve problems facing our Road and Transport Systems.
I am a Ghanaian student who is eager to help solve problems facing our Road and Transport Systems.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and having worked as an Engineer in the Ghana Highway Authority, I have developed an interest in ensuring the sustainability of the environment per challenges we encounter and envisage in our work.
I would like to be well prepared to contribute positively to the provision of engineering solutions and policy direction for the future of road and transportation in Ghana.
I am an early career female researcher with a first degree in materials engineering and a second in environmental resources management. My area of research is focused on using an integrated approach to managing waste materials for road surfacing and repair. This research focus would translate into resilient and durable road infrastructure to aid our rapidly urbanising cities and peri urban areas in development in Africa.
I am Simeon Stevenson Turay, the second son in a family of five. Graduated in 2015 from the university of Sierra Leone with a bachelor's degree in engineering with honors in civil engineering. Served as head of Geotechnical engineering unit at one of the engineering companies in Sierra Leone from 2016 - 2019.
I am a Research and Teaching Assistant at the civil Engineering department Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Presently on study leave under the TRECK scholarship program.
Emmanuel is a second year PhD student with an interest in improving transport for the transport vulnerable. His research focuses on Mobility-as-a-Service where he is looking at incorporating the use of technology in the enhancement of traditional transportation services to make them competitive in a technologically facing world.
An unassuming personality, entrepreneur, educationist, team player, a visionary leader who sees opportunities everywhere, dares to be different, and with a passionate desire to share and impart knowledge and skills acquired.
My name is Amatullah Abdullah, I am from Nigeria. I graduated from Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria, from the department of Quantity Surveying. I am studying Road and transportation Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with full scholarship from the Regional Transport Research and Education Center Kumasi(TRECK). I have worked with Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Engineering Consortium.
My name is Jeff, I completed KNUST 2018 with a Bsc.Geomatic engineering. Jeff served as a teaching and research assistant at the department of Geomatic Engineering in KNUST for his national service. Subject areas were GIS ,photogrammetry , remote sensing and Land surveying. Jeff is a practicing Land surveyor,GIS analyst and remote sensing specialist in Kumasi.
Jeff is currently an Msc.Road and transportation Engineering student in KNUST and usually helps researchers in GIS and remote sensing.
Bertha Johnson is a first year PhD student in the Program in Roads and Transportation at Treck, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Her interests are investigating the engineering properties of granitic rock aggregates for use as pavement construction aggregates.
Bertha graduated with a MPhil in Geological Engineering. For her master's thesis at the Department of Geological Engineering she looked at the susceptibility of some Ghanaian granitic rock aggregates to alkali silica reactivity in Portland Cement concrete.
Henry Ataburo is a Ghanaian, and obtained his BSc. and MBA studies, both in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the KNUST School of Business, Ghana. He's currently enrolled in the Transport and Logistics program under TRECK, Ghana.
