Africa Centre of Excellence (ACE) TRECK Staff Undergo Training in Financial and Procurement Management

Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), under the Africa Higher Education Centres of Excellence for Development Impact Project (ACE Impact Project) organized a 4 - day residential capacity building workshop on Financial and Procurement Management at Mensvic Grand Hotel, Accra from 25th to 29th April 2021.

The training was facilitated by a consultant, TRUST Training Limited (TTL), whose services were hired by GTEC. The objective of the Workshop was to provide participating ACE Centres with the tools necessary to ensure proper Financial and Procurement Management.

The training covered the following areas:

  1. Financial Management;

Expenditure Documentation, Control and Reporting for a results-based financing project of the IDA.

  1. Procurement;

Managing Services and Works Procurement for an IDA Project under the requirements of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) as amended (Country System).

In addition to TRECK, 8 other ACE Centres attended the workshop. The TRECK team that attended the workshop included:
