Mrs Bertha Johnson
Bertha Johnson is a first year PhD student in the Program in Roads and Transportation at TRECK, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Her interests are investigating the engineering properties of granitic rock aggregates for use as pavement construction aggregates.
Bertha graduated with a MPhil in Geological Engineering. For her master's thesis at the Department of Geological Engineering she looked at the susceptibility of some Ghanaian granitic rock aggregates to alkali silica reactivity in Portland Cement concrete.
She is also interested in investigating the communication that exists among transportation infrastructure, climate change and transportation policy.
